Thus the foundry coke should have the characteristics of a big block, low activity, small porocity, enough anti-crush strength, low ash, and low sulfur. In addition to the characteristics of premium ash 10% foundry coke, the special grade ash 8% foundry coke also has the special effects of ultra-low ash, sulfur, and low apparent porosity.
